On May 30, 2017 CO-VER Power Technology and MEMC Electronic Materials S.p.A. signed an important agreement for the creation of a complex system for cooling water production by the so-called Free Cooling.

The about six-year duration agreement provides for the design, construction and financing of the work at the expense of CO-VER Power Technology and the sharing with  MEMC Electronic Materials S.p.A. of the economic benefits deriving from energy saving.

The plant will have a refrigerating capacity of 3,100 kW and will allow a share of estimated electricity saving of about 3,600 MWh, corresponding to approximately 670 tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE).

By formal notice of February 24, 2017 CPT received the favorable outcome of the application for joining the Finpiemonte Regional Notice POR FESR14/20 Action IV.4b.2.1.
